CSK beat Mumbai Indians by 24 runs

Chasing a target of 166 runs set by Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians could score only 141 runs, losing by 24 runs, in an Indian Premier League match at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.
Mumbai Indians lost 6 wickets in 6 overs after Sachin Tendulkar retired ill due to dehydration.It was after the ninth over that Tendulkar retired ill with the Mumbai score at 62/1. In the tenth over, Suresh Raina had Ambati Rayudu (3) stumped by MS Dhoni.

Tendulkar came back in the field at this point but two overs later, Thushara had him caught by Vijay at long-on as Mumbai lost their captain with 105 runs on the board.

Chennai Super Kings: 165 for four in 20 overs (Mathew Hayden 35, Mahendra Singh Dhoni 31, S Badrtinath 30 not out; Kieron Pollard 2/26).

Mumbai Indians: 141 for nine in 20 overs (Sachin Tendulkar 45, Harbhajan Singh 33, Thilan Thushara 2/16, R Ashwin 2/22).
