IPL ban Ravindra Jadeja for 2010 season

21-year-old all-rounder the India international,Ravindra Jadeja has been banned for a year from IPL for his ‘anti-team activities’.

On Friday, Rajasthan Royals had left Jadeja out of the squad that will take part in IPL III, scheduled to start on March 12. Inquiries revealed that the left-arm bowler had been punished by the IPL’s governing council.

Jadeja, 21, is an India international, with 19 ODIs and five Twenty20 games under his belt. He was a key member of the team that won the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia in 2008, which pitchforked him into the limelight and an IPL contract, worth US$30,000, with Rajasthan. He was one of the key performers in Rajasthan's victorious campaign in the inaugural IPL, leading Shane Warne, the captain and coach. to single him out as a special talent and a "superstar in the making".

Jadeja played for the Rajasthan Royals in the first two seasons of the IP.
