NBA All-Star game : East beats West

East conference defeated the West 141-139 in the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Game held in Dallas, Texas.

With a splendid performance of 28 points, 11 assists, five steals and six rebounds, the East's point guard Dwyane Wade, from Miami Heat, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.

His mates also did a shining play. LeBron James of Cleveland Cavaliers scored 25 points and six assists, Dwight Howard of Orlando Magic scored 17 points, while Chris Bosh of Toronto Raptors offered 23 points and 10 rebounds.

In the West squad, Carmelo Anthony of Denver Nuggets marked 27 points and 10 rebounds. He was also widely believed to be the MVP should his team could defeat the East.
